Singapore-based startup W3 Fortune PTE. LTD. (led by CEO Takashi Sugai) has raised 120 million yen in seed round funding from Relic Inc. and angel investors; its first project to be released will be CatRescue collectible NFTs.
Fundraising Goals and Future Development
Web 3.0 will solve the issues and risks associated with Web 2.0; Web 3.0 is expected to dramatically transform traditional business models, communities, and how we go about doing things. W3 Fortune will launch multiple Web3.0-specific business models, leverage the expertise and track record developed, and form partnerships with other companies, to seamlessly drive social implementation from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0.
This round of funding will be used in the space of NFT, DAO and token economy to develop collectible NFT projects. The NFTs will not just be digital artworks, they will also have practical applications; a mix of frameworks centred on NFTs such as DAO and token economy will be field tested.
About CatRescue collectible NFTs
CatRescue is asocial good project: we’re on a mission to support cat welfare and end the killing of cats. We will sell 5,555 digital cat art NFTs, and 50% of the proceeds will go to financially support organizations that drive rescue efforts. Bringing together cat lovers worldwide, with our NFT holders front and centre, we aim to become a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) for people who share our desire to do some good for cats.

Thoughts on the launch of CatRescue(Shin Sasaki, CPO)
My rescue cat’s name is Chiho. I found her abandoned in a car park deep in the mountains, at the Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture. I’ll never forget how she was shivering all over when shecame to rub up against my legs, in the cold mountains in February. This was inthe middle of the pandemic, around the time when a lot of people were giving up their pets for financial reasons or other reasons, so she could have been oneof the cats that ended up homeless as a result.
I’d never taken in a rescue cat before, so there were many situations I didn’t know how to handle at first, but Chiho is now part of my family, and she’s happy and comfortable in her new life in Tokyo. Through our chance encounter, I discovered that there are so many abandoned cats out there who can’t be saved, and the reasons for that are almost always down to humans.
All cats are amazing and deserve to beloved. We launched CatRescue to do something to help the cats that are being abandoned now. We aim to create a world where rescue cat aid and the economic benefits of Web3 can work together.
